Nick's
may be the nicest restaurant at the beach, although that doesn't
mean we can't wear our jeans or shorts or just about whatever we
feel like. The crowd is casual, and always looks like it's having
fun. Not surprisingly, the lengthy menu concentrates on seafood,
such as mussels steamed in tomatillos, lime and cilantro, blackened
catfish in creamed horseradish sauce, and yellowtail marinated in
wasabi vinaigrette. There are, however, plenty of seafood alternatives,
including entrée-size salads, pastas and even a good burger.
Among the standouts are pork chops marinated in apple brandy and
goat cheese--stuffed chicken breast.
